Crying Eagle Stood On The Road and Wouldn’t Leave. Cops Discovered Sad Reason Why and They were deeply moved by what they found. The eagle had lost its mate and was mourning its loss by standing in the middle of the road. The officers were able to gently coax the eagle off the road and bring it to a wildlife rehabilitation center where it could be cared for and eventually released back into the wild. The officers were touched by the eagle’s display of grief and were grateful that they were able to help the majestic bird in its time of need.
