A man recently saved what he thought was a foal that was in distress and brought it to a nearby vet for treatment. However, when the vet examined the animal, he was shocked to discover that it was not a foal at all, but rather a rare and endangered species of deer known as a Pudu. The vet informed the man that he was not supposed to see this animal as they are protected and closely monitored by conservationists. The man was relieved that he had accidentally helped save a valuable member of a threatened species and vowed to be more careful in the future.
