A man had been feeding birds every day outside his house, scattering what he thought was birdseed on the ground. However, his wife soon noticed that the birds were not eating the so-called birdseed and instead were leaving it untouched. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the man had been feeding the birds small rocks instead of actual food. The wife was shocked and quickly put a stop to her husband’s misguided attempts at feeding the birds.
