A woman recently spotted a giant snake in her backyard and called animal control for help. When they arrived, they were shocked to find that the snake had swallowed a fully grown possum whole. The snake had clearly bitten off more than it could chew, as it was struggling to digest the large prey. The animal control team safely captured the snake and took it to a wildlife rehabilitation center where it could receive proper care. It just goes to show that nature can be both fascinating and brutal at the same time.
