Elephants Refuse To Leave Cave, When Ranger Realizes Why He Calls For Backup

A group of elephants had taken refuge in a cave and refused to leave despite the efforts of a ranger to coax them out. Concerned about the unusual behavior, the ranger called for backup. When additional rangers arrived, they discovered that the cave provided shelter and safety for the elephants during a storm that had passed through the area. Understanding the animals’ need for protection, the rangers decided to let them stay until they felt comfortable enough to leave on their own.
