Two elephant sisters were recently reunited after being apart for 15 years. The sisters, named Jenny and Shirley, were separated when they were young and lived in different zoos. Jenny was transferred to a zoo in Asia while Shirley remained in the United States. Thanks to a collaborative effort between the two zoos, the sisters were able to be reunited in a sanctuary in Tennessee. The emotional reunion was filled with trumpeting and touching trunks, showing the strong bond that had endured despite the years apart. The sisters are now able to spend their days together, roaming and playing in their new home.
